Silver Sands Continues Partnership with JobsPlus to Offer Job Seekers Resources and Opportunities
Miramar Beach, Fla. (June 1, 2011) – Silver Sands is continuing its partnership with JobsPlus to offer job seekers in the area resources along with hundreds of job opportunities all in one central location. On the fourth Wednesday of every month (except November) the JobsPlus 40-foot Mobile One-Stop vehicle will be stationed at Silver Sands from 1-4 p.m. Job seekers will have access to hundreds of positions available at Silver Sands Factory Stores, in addition to being able to register in the Employ Florida Marketplace database to search and apply for additional employment opportunities throughout the state.
JobsPlus team members will be available to critique resumes, make suggestions on how to upload resumes in their system, provide tips concerning dress and appearance and conduct comprehensive job searches for potential employment opportunities. “The goal of JobsPlus One-Stop Career Centers is to help match our local job seekers with employers who are hiring,” stated Trisha King, Business Service Representative for JobsPlus One-Stop Career Center. The mobile career center is equipped with twelve computer stations with Internet access, flat screen televisions both inside and outside for training and class presentations, an outdoor canopy, a sound system and a generator to provide its own power.
