Purses With A Purpose Being Held at Silver Sands Factory Stores
MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (June 1, 2011) – Silver Sands Factory Stores and Shelter House are partnering to present, Purses With A Purpose, a two-day purse auction. The event will benefit Shelter House, the only state-certified domestic violence center serving domestic violence victims of Okaloosa and Walton counties. Purses With A Purpose will take place on Thursday, June 16 and Friday, June 17 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Silver Sands between DKNY Company Store and Juicy Couture.
“We are honored to work with Shelter House for the third year on this event benefitting a wonderful organization,” said Myra Williams, VP of Marketing for Howard Group. “It is exciting that our tenants share our philanthropic vision as this will be the second year that Carrabba’s will be donating food to the pre-sale event.”
Purses With A Purpose is a purse auction where new and lightly used designer purses are donated to be auctioned off with all proceeds benefitting Shelter House. A preview sale on Thursday, June 16, will offer attendees the opportunity to purchase purses before the event while sipping on wine and enjoying food provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Admission to the preview party is $5.
If you like designer purses, but not the designer price and would like to help a great local charity at the same time then, this is an event you will not want to miss. Donations of new and gently used purses are still being accepted for the event. Please bring donations to Silver Sands Management Office Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
