Celebrate the Holidays at Silver Sands Factory Stores
MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. (November 23, 2010) – Black Friday weekend only marks the beginning of a festive holiday season at Silver Sands Factory Stores. The Center is spreading holiday cheer with several community events and promotions to keep everyone in great spirits this season.
Silver Sands is kicking off the month of December with the highly-anticipated Santa’s Arrival. On Saturday, December 4 at noon, Santa Claus himself will be arriving at Silver Sands via Sacred Heart Hospital’s AIRHeart Helicopter. Children under the age of eight are invited to dress up in festive holiday costume and accompany Santa for a fun parade to the Courtyard, located by Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH. Contest winners will receive a Silver Sands gift card as well as a donation by Silver Sands to the winner’s charity of choice. Complimentary Santa photos will also be available.
Sponsored by Sinfonia Gulf Coast, Charity Gift Wrap also opens on Saturday, December 4 near Shopper Services. This charity event is a great opportunity to take the burden of gift wrapping off your shoulders and give back to the community. Sinfonia volunteers will wrap gifts of all shapes and sizes, with various price points and paper selections available. Suggested donations are $5 and up, depending on size and quantity. Charity Gift Wrap will be open December 4-12 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.; December 13-23 from 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.; and December 24 from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Shoppers can also choose to adopt an angel beginning on December 4. The Families First Angel Tree will be located in Charity Gift Wrap to assist families in need this holiday season.
This holiday season is all about value so Silver Sands is offering shoppers even more discounts on designer deals. Beginning November 29, shoppers can save an additional 20 percent off one single item from select Silver Sands stores. Customers can obtain a hard copy of the coupon in local and regional newspapers, or can opt to print off the downloadable version online at silversandsoutlet.com.
If holiday events and promotions weren’t enough, Silver Sands has also introduced two new retail stores to the Center, and is in the process of expanding another. Global athletic leader New Balance Factory Store is Silver Sands Holiday Events now open near Swarovski with great shoes and apparel for men, women and children. Cotton On is a retail
powerhouse that recently opened near Nautica and offers trendy men and women apparel, shoes and accessories for people in every age bracket. Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store is undergoing some exciting changes this holiday season as well. Come mid-December, the factory store will be moving from their current location to a larger store space near Shopper Services.
