Celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Autumn Tides with a Limited Edition Donna Burgess Print

The season is filled with heartfelt memories and one local renowned artist has devoted the past ten years to capturing these moments in timeless pieces of art. Named South Walton’s 2008 Artist of the Year, Donna Burgess has portrayed the essence of the beautiful fall season at South Walton in her collectable Autumn Tides artwork. Through her partnership with Silver Sands Factory Stores, Burgess offers shoppers a complimentary, limited edition 10th Anniversary Autumn Tides print when they redeem $300 in same-day receipts during the entire month of October. This year’s highly-anticipated artwork is entitled “Tides of Tranquility.”
In “Tides of Tranquility”, Burgess combines the prints from the past nine years in a watercolor collage that celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Autumn Tides. The warm colors of the sun and sand melt into the cool blues and greens throughout the piece, which are accentuated by items that represent the beach and Burgess’ love for its beauty. “In this 10th Anniversary commemorative piece, Donna effortlessly captures the past ten years in such a colorful and unique manner,” said Myra Williams, VP of Marketing for Howard Group. “Our shoppers look forward to collecting her limited edition artwork to frame for their homes or to give as gifts.”
Guests also have the opportunity to meet Donna Burgess and have their print personally autographed and dedicated at the special artist signing. Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH will host the signing reception on Saturday, October 15 from 1 - 4 p.m. Silver Sands’ Autumn Tides Month celebration is a part of Autumn Tides, a series of unforgettable fall festivals sponsored by the South Walton Tourist Development Council.
“Tides of Tranquility” is available exclusively at Silver Sands from October 1 - 31 for the Autumn Tides Month celebration. The print will be available at Silver Sands Shopper Services kiosk, located between Michael Kors and Juicy Couture, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
